The best way to incentivize yourself is by saying the words live and life. These words are very crucial to making positive changes going forward. The first thing we want to do is to make sure we are getting our annual check-ups. Most check-ups fall up under preventative care. Under preventative care, you are able to get different health screenings for diabetes, depression, cholesterol, obesity counseling, etc. By seeing your health care provider we avert other health issues from occurring. We want to make sure what we are doing has positive & healthy effects on our body.
What Are We Putting In Our Bodies?
The next thing we want to focus on is our food intake. There are so many foods that taste & look good but the question remains…..Does it make our body feel good? How do you feel when you eat unhealthy foods? The satisfaction is only temporary but what is it doing to us with our health. Certain foods we consume can cause an increase in weight and other health issues. That is why we have to be cautious about what we eat and the portion sizes. Weight is so easy to put on but is hard to take off.
To exercise or not?
Health & fitness affects everyone, adolescent and old. No matter what your age is our health can decline if we are not taking care of ourselves or those we are responsible for. The last thing we want to do is to incorporate exercise. By including exercise into our normal routines this will avail us to maintain balance in our daily lives. Health and fitness are very challenging to some of us, but we are doing this to welcome those words live and life. Remember, being healthy is a choice and with health and fitness, we can all achieve this.
